A message to Asotin County Residents regarding controlled burning season

Asotin County’s Controlled Burning Season for the spring of 2023 will begin at 9:00a.m. April 1st and conclude on May 31St. Burning hours are from 9:00am to 4:00p.m. with fires needing to be completely out by 4:00pm Burn pile sizes are restricted to 4′ x 4′ x 3′ high. Citizens are encouraged to pick up a detailed copy of the burn restrictions at either the Asotin County Building Department or the Asotin County Fire District No. 1 in the Clarkston Heights. The open burning line should be checked daily, prior to burning, to see if conditions have chnaged. The rburn line number is 243-2002.

Please keep in mind Asotin County Regional Landfill’s “FREE yard waste disposal program”. A clean alternative to burning. Please call ACRL at 758-1965 for details on allowable materials.
