Anderson Tabbed to Lead Warrior Golf

LEWISTON, Idaho – Zach Anderson has been named the leader of Lewis-Clark State Golf for the 2022-23 season. The McKinney, Texas, native is a graduate of NCAA Division II Mississippi College.

“We are extremely excited to have Zach join the department and have him lead Warrior Golf,” Athletic Director Brooke Henze said. “He is very motivated and eager to help the team succeed on and off the course. The future of Warrior Golf is bright.”

Anderson played four years of golf at Mississippi College before transitioning into an assistant coaching role. He graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance before continuing on to earn a Master’s in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration. As a coach at MC, Anderson handled the team’s recruiting efforts and recruited five top-100 juniors in his three years. He helped the men’s team move into the top 100 of the Golfstat rankings, sitting as high as No. 71.

Anderson also served as the Co-Director of Golf at Live Oaks Golf Club in Jackson, Miss., where he organized tournaments and ran clinics for all ages.

“Extremely blessed for this opportunity to lead the LC State Golf programs,” Anderson said. “I want to thank the search committee for trusting in me to lead both of these nationally recognized programs. This team is ready to build on its success and eager to get to the next level. My goal is not just to mold the players into exceptional students and golfers, but well-rounded leaders as well. I am excited to see where this program can go.”
