Avista Customers in Kooskia to Experience a Planned Power Outage

SPOKANE – Approximately 280 Avista electric customers in Kooskia will experience a planned power outage on Thursday, September 29. The planned outage will occur at 10 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. on Friday, September 30. Impacted customers will be notified.

During this time, Avista will be upgrading equipment in the area. The planned work will increase reliability and reduce future outages. No road closures are expected during this time. Both Highway 13 and Broadway Avenue in Kooskia will be reduced to one lane while work is being conducted.
