Bothwell Tabbed NAIA Field Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a strong weekend in the heptathlon at the Whitworth Invitational, Lewis-Clark State Track and Field senior Christian Bothwell was voted the NAIA Field Athlete of the Week.

 

The Hailey, Idaho, native broke his own school record in the event with a score of 4,793 points. The total ranks sixth in the NAIA this season. Bothwell had personal-bests in the 60m dash (7.48), high jump (1.86m) and 60m hurdles (8.86).

 

Bothwell is the first Warrior to earn national weekly honors this season.
