LEWISTON – Pavement patching began on Monday, July 1, and continues into the coming week in some areas. Seal & Fog Coat operations are scheduled to start on July 22nd. The City of Lewiston has partnered with Poe Asphalt Paving, Inc. to undertake this year’s Seal & Fog Coat project.
Drivers in work areas should anticipate short-term road closures during construction. Unforeseen conditions may necessitate schedule adjustments, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Project Details:
• Hours of Operation: Generally between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Scope: Annual Street Preservation involves preventative maintenance such as removal and replacement of deteriorated pavement, patching, overlay, seal coat, and slurry seal across City streets on a rotating basis. This year’s focus includes the Seal & Fog Coat phase.
