Clarkston Man Wanted on Aggravated Battery and Burglary Charges Arrested on Saturday

LEWISTON – A 27-year-old Clarkston man was arrested in Latah County on Saturday, July 9, and faces Aggravated Battery and Burglary charges stemming from a Lewiston Police investigation.

Johnathan Petersen Davis was arrested by Latah County Sheriff Deputies for violating a No Contact Order after Sheriff Richard Skiles conducted a traffic stop on Petersen Davis for speeding on Highway 95 north of Moscow. Sheriff Skiles and deputies began a roadside investigation following the stop because Petersen Davis could not provide valid identification and gave them a false name. Petersen Davis was ultimately identified and arrested for violating the No Contact Order between him and a passenger in the vehicle.

Lewiston Police Detectives had identified Petersen Davis as a suspect in an incident that occurred in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue in Lewiston on June 2, 2022, and were contacted during the traffic stop. Petersen Davis will be brought before a Nez Perce County Judge for his two felony charges from the Lewiston investigation after being seen in Latah County for the No Contact Order violation.
