The Clarkston School District is excited to announce the kickoff of Transitional Kindergarten / Kindergarten Registration and Round-Up for the upcoming 2024–2025 school year. This effort is geared towards warmly welcoming new students and preparing them for their educational journey within our district.
WHAT: Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year
WHO: Transitional Kindergarten is open to any student who is not yet 5 as of August 31st. Kindergarten is open to any student who turns 5 on or before August 31st. Students will attend their neighborhood school unless capacity is reached.
WHEN: Online registration for new students is now open. Please visit www.csdk12.org and navigate to the Parent section to access New Student Enrollment. Current students are required to register by logging into their Skyward Parent Access accounts.
To complete your child’s registration, the following documents must be uploaded:
• Proof of residency
• Child’s birth certificate
• Child’s immunization records

Round-up activities are designed to assess a child’s readiness and aid teachers in planning for the upcoming academic year. These activities encompass assessments in hearing/vision, gross and fine motor skills, concepts, and speech/language development.
