Community Calendar for June 7 – June 12

Wednesday, June 8

Vitalant will have a blood drive at the Clarkston High School Library from 3 – 8 p.m.

The Kenworthy Performing Arts Center will have a reading and signing with Robert Wrigley starting at 7 p.m.

Pullman Farmers Market will be taking place from 3:30 – 6 p.m. at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.

The Corner Villa will be hosting a Bunco for a Cause starting at 6:30 p.m.


Thursday, June 9

Moscow Food Co-Op will have an Idaho Wine and Cider tasting starting at 4:30 p.m.

The Latah County Fair and Event Center will have metal bands Nekrotisk, Death Illuminate, and Dweller playing live presented by Giant Palouse Earthworm promotional group starting at 7 p.m.

Screen on the Green will be playing The Goonies starting at 9 p.m. at the Tower Lawn.


Friday, June 10

Genesee Community Days will take place at the Genesee City Park from 4 – 9 p.m. is late registration for the Cow Creek Run and a rendezvous in the city park for all returning Genesee High School alumni who have class reunions. There are 12 classes reuniting, but the event is open to everyone. There will be food and music provided. Saturday begins with breakfast, then Cow Creek Run, car show, kids’ and main parades, egg toss, pie stand, food vendors, with tacos & taco salad, hamburgers, sausage dogs, cotton candy, and craft market, kids’ races, card games at the fire station, three-on-three basketball, turtle races, quilt show, open house quilt museum, and more.

Lindsay Creek Vineyards will have live music from Landen Henrie from 6 – 9 p.m.

The Donkey Den will have live music from the American Bonfire starting at 7 p.m.

Hells Gate State Park will have a community paddle event starting at 11 a.m.

Moscow Brewing Company will have live music from Jon and Rand Band starting at 6 p.m.

WSU Planetarium presents a tour of June night skies, followed by the full dome movie “Out There: The Quest for Extrasolar Worlds” from 7 – 8 p.m. Cash or check only, no credit.

One World Cafe will have live music from EVRLiTE from 7 – 9 p.m.

Parejas Cellars will have live music from Michael Jordan from 7 – 10 p.m.

Hogan’s will have live music from John Shipe starting at 9 p.m.


Saturday, June 11

Downtown Culdesac will have their Culdesac Shebang Surfin’ Safari will start at 7:30 a.m.

Moscow Farmers Market will start at 8 a.m. on Main Street

Lewiston’s Farmers Market will take place from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at CHS Primeland on Snake River Ave.

Genesee Community Days will take place at the Genesee City Park starting at 8 a.m.

Pullman Community Garden at Koppel Farm is having Critters in the River from 9 – 11 a.m. Join Palouse Conservation District for an exploration of the macroinvertebrates living on the South Fork of the Palouse River. Local water quality, aquatic macroinvertebrates, and some of the native plant species that can be found in the riparian corridor along the river will be discussed.

The Latah Farmers Market will take place at Troy City Park from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Brackenbury Square will have a March for our Lives in the Lewis-Clark Valley from 10 – 11 a.m. “It’s time to hit our streets once again as we gather to remember those who lost loved ones during the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas.”

Beachview Park in Clarkson will have Pride in the Park from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m The second annual Pride in the Park, presented by Quality Behavioral Health’s Asotin and Garfield county Community Sexual Assault Program, includes a Pride walk, creativity stations, yard games, music and face painting.

The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre will have a Make Your Own Instrument event starting at 11 a.m.

Idler’s Rest Nature Preserve will have a Sound Bath and Guided Meditation from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Lindsay Creek Vineyard will have live music from Slackwater Rollers from 6 – 9 p.m.

Lewiston Civic Theatre presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” starting at 7 p.m. at the Old Lewiston High School Auditorium. Based on the classic fairy tale, and particularly the French version, “Cendrillon ou la Petite Pantoufle de Verre,” Rodgers and Hammerstein’s adaptation brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of — and achieves — a better life

One World Cafe will have live music from The Red Scare with Monopines from 7 – 9:30 p.m.

Hogan’s will have live music from SIMP, with Brothers starting at 10 p.m.


Sunday, June 12

Moscow Alehouse will be having a Pups and Pints from 12 – 4 p.m. Bring your dog and come enjoy raffle prizes, a photo booth, local beer, BBQ by the Smoke Ring and Live Music by Pumice Pocket
