Downtown Moscow Streetscape Project

The City of Moscow has begun the initial planning process for the downtown streetscape project. The city has hired Welch Comer- an engineering firm out of Coeur d’Alene to lead this project. The project will be implemented in 3 phases

The first is, developing the scope of the project. This phase consists of three meetings with the steering committee the first of which took place on the evening of June 14th at the Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center. Two public meetings, and individual meetings with public stakeholders. Culminating with a scope of work presentation to City Council tentatively scheduled for some time in August.

The second is, conceptualizing the Scope of Work and presenting concepts.

The last is budgeting and implementation. This project is being led by Cody Riddle, Deputy City Supervisor at the City of Moscow.

“We will work collaboratively with the City Staff to keep you all up to date and informed on opportunities to meet with the consulting team and provide public input.” The City of Moscow said. “In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact our executive director Sam Martinet as she is serving on the steering committee.”
