Asotin County, WA- Released by the Asotin County Fire District #1
A Clarkston man was treated and released at the hospital after an early morning fire that destroyed two camp trailers.
Asotin County Fire District #1 was called to the blaze just after 4:30 am Thursday morning. Lewiston fire crews also responded to aid in the fire.
When fire crews arrived both RVs were engulfed in flames. A man and woman were living in one of the trailers. One of the residents received minor burns on one hand while trying to extinguish the flames and transported to St Joseph Regional Meducal Center. He was treated and released
Fighters were on scene for about two hours. A car was also heavily damaged by the fire along Riverside Drive in Clarkston.
Both campers were destroyed. There were no other reported injuries. One of the residents of the camper said he was smoking in bed which was the cause of the fire.
