Orofino Community Cleanup

A Community Cleanup event is set for April 26 at Orofino City Park, encouraging residents to participate in beautifying the area. Volunteers can start picking up trash at 7 a.m., with dump trucks available all day for disposal.

The event includes several activities, such as a German Dog & Hot Dog lunch at 11:30 a.m., courtesy of the City of Orofino. Additionally, fees will be waived for Clearwater County residents disposing of waste at county transfer sites from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Other activities include a tree giveaway from the Idaho Department of Lands and Clearwater-Potlatch Timber Protective Association, a Tree City USA presentation at noon, and a Smokey Bear fire prevention materials distribution. The Rotary Club of Orofino will also host an estate/yard sale at the fair exhibit building from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with proceeds benefiting local projects.
