Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred Monday, February 12th at approximately 6:00 pm on northbound US95 near milepost 406, just south of the Coeur d’Alene Casino. A 1997 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a 26 year old male from Plummer, ID was traveling northbound when he lost control and rolled off the right shoulder. The driver was ejected and not wearing a seatbelt. The driver had been transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. On February 26th, the driver succumbed to his injuries at a local hospice. The incident remains under the investigation of the Idaho State Police.
