7th ranked Faulkner (ala.) defeated 10th ranked Webber International (fla.) 7-2 in Game 3 of the Avista NAIA World Series on Saturday.
Faulkner started off strong with Saenz (dh), Funk (lf), and Brinkley (rf) scoring three unearned runs in the bottom of the second inning. They were able to shut out Webber International until a 9th inning home run by Dobyanski (cf).
Faulkner is scheduled to face Tennessee Wesleyan in Game 5 this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
