RITZVILLE – At 12:14 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, Washington State Patrol responded to a single-vehicle, semi-truck rollover accident on I-90 at milepost 225.
According to an accident report distributed by WSP, the semi-truck driver, 44-year-old Wileme Dorceus of Lake Worth, FL, was driving westbound on I90 when he fell asleep and drifted into the median. Dorceus overcorrected and flipped the truck and trailer, sliding 50 feet to block both westbound lanes of traffic.
Dorceus was transported by ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries. He was ticketed for negligent driving.
