Go Fund Me Created for Local Family’s Son Delivered not Breathing Making Slow Recovery

MOSCOW – On Monday, July 25, Martin and Nicole were on their way to Gritman Medical Center to have their precious 4th child, however, it did not go how they had planned.

Things went fast and their son arrived around 3 p.m., not breathing. His oxygen and blood sugar levels were very low, and he had a heart murmur. The medical team advised Martin and Nicole’s newborn to take a LifeFlight to Sacred Heart Children’s hospital in Spokane to be better monitored.

While the baby was in the air, Martin drove to the hospital as fast as he could. Meanwhile, Nicole had to stay back in Moscow until Tuesday morning due to the amount of bleeding she had.

Currently, their baby has to be on oxygen and is hooked up to all the machines at all times, so they have yet to have the opportunity to hold their newest little miracle. As of Tuesday, his levels have made great improvements but there is still a long, unknown road ahead.

To help with their unexpected medical expenses, they have created a Go Fund Me that can be found here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/bpvyp-the-mccoy-family?utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2lZC_gu1v4ollr-h2Z9wd2-7SqZseSjVuYSG4yi5V80vIsJe2PYwaDY5c

There will be an account set up at P1FCU if you would like to wait and donate that way. It will be added to the Go Fund Me page when available.
