MOSCOW ― Neurosurgeon Dr. Nicholas Levine has joined Gritman Medical Center as the hospital launches the Gritman Neurosurgery practice with a focus on specialty brain and spine surgery.
A fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, Dr. Levine comes to Gritman with decades of experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery. His practice opens following recent expansions of complementary services at the Gritman Interventional Pain Clinic and Palouse Neurology, all housed within the newly expanded C.L. Gritman Medical Office Building in downtown Moscow.
“I’ve been impressed with the interest and love of the community for everyone I’ve talked to at Gritman. There is a sincere desire by everyone to work for the betterment of the community,” he said. “I’m excited to be part of Gritman and be part of the Gritman Neurosurgery team.”
Dr. Levine is Board-Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed his Neurosurgery Residency at the Mayfield Clinic/University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He pursued subspecialty fellowship training in skull base surgery and cerebrovascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Levine previously practiced at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the University of California San Francisco – Fresno campuses.
