Idaho Animal Rescue Network Looking for Community Members’ Help with Jax

Idaho Animal Rescue Network is looking for community members to help with a sweet year-and-a-half-year-old pup named Jax. They have known him and his brother since they were young puppies and now unfortunately he is not feeling well.

Over the last few months, Jax has been going through a great deal with his lymph nodes. Dr. Cherish at Riverview Animal Clinic has been working hard trying to pinpoint the cause of Jax’s illness. With his first biopsy, lymphoma and tick-borne illnesses have been ruled out. The lymph node itself was very necrotic. So, things are sadly still a mystery.

WSU requested another lymph node biopsy and that was performed yesterday. They are looking at a potentially rare bacteria being the cause. Hopefully, this biopsy provides answers.

Jax is young and very sweet and Idaho Animal Rescue Network is committed to helping him through this.

“We have enjoyed watching him and his mischievous brother grow up,” they said in a Facebook post. “But we need help with his medical costs. Any amount would help … and this boy is very deserving.”
