(Idaho County) On December 23, 2024, at approximately 7:24 PM, an Idaho County deputy was on an Office of Highway Safety emphasis patrol and made a traffic stop in the Doumecq area for a routine traffic offense.
During the stop, K9 Millie and her handler arrived, and K9 Millie alerted on the vehicle. Further investigation indicated the driver was under the influence. A search of the vehicle yielded two firearms and marijuana.
Jacob Larson, age 40, was arrested for felony unlawful possession of a firearm (two counts), misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving under the influence, and misdemeanor contempt of court.
