Latah County – The Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred on March 6, 2023, at 09:52 am on State Highway 3 milepost 25.5 in Latah County. A log truck, driven by a 40-year-old male from Deer Lodge, MT, was traveling southbound on SH3. A Chevrolet Truck, driven by a male, was traveling northbound. The log truck lost control of the vehicle leaving the roadway. The log truck then traveled back onto the roadway. The Chevrolet then impacted the log truck. The log truck tipped onto the Chevrolet. Both drivers were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Traffic on SH3 was blocked completely for 3 hours and 30 minutes.
