Mr. Larsen commented, “It is bittersweet to leave the ITC, but I am confident in the council’s continued success under new leadership. I am especially proud of the strong network of stakeholders we have built, including government officials, industry leaders, and our valued technology members.”

The ITC acknowledges the contributions of Mr. Larsen during his tenure as CEO, working with an exceptional board of directors and a passionate team. The council is grateful for his dedication and engagement in advancing the technology sector in Idaho.

Speaking on his new opportunity with Meta, Mr. Larsen said, “I believe that this opportunity with Meta will allow me to continue making a positive impact on the community and continue to work with the ITC. Meta’s focus on community engagement resonates deeply with me, and I am thrilled to contribute to their mission of facilitating collaboration and driving change.”

While there wouldn’t be an ITC without Jay, there will unquestionably be an ITC after Jay, in large part because of the foundation he helped lay.”

The ITC will begin the search for a new CEO to lead the organization into its next chapter. The board expresses confidence in selecting a capable individual to build upon the council’s achievements under Mr. Larsen’s leadership.
