Impressive Wins for Bengals Tennis at State Tournament Last Weekend.

LEWISTON – Dylan Gomez leads Bengals boys Tennis to a fourth place finish in the state tournament over the weekend, and others bring impressive wins home to the valley.

Strength under pressure, this describes what Dylan brings to the game. Not having lost a set all season, Dylan displayed true composure on the court in battling his way to a second place finish.

His ability to stay composed even when behind allowed him to chip away and overcome his opponents in his first three rounds of the tournament. While he was able to push eventual state champion Tyler Dallos, it was just not enough to overcome.

The Lewiston boys’ doubles team composed of Henry Parkey and Emmett Heiss, as well as, the girls’ doubles team composed of Allison Olson and Morgan Moran finished 5th at state.

Olson and Moran made it to the semi-final match before dropping their next two matches to Boise high one and two.

Kayden Laferriere and Shelby Hobbs won their first match and dropped their next two.

Finally, Federico Navarro Lopez and Christian Bren went one and two on the weekend.
