On March 25, 2024, at approximately 10:45 AM, Idaho County Dispatch received a report of a reckless driver on Highway 95 milepost 241 headed southbound into Grangeville. The caller reported a white colored van was driving all over the road, speeding and almost causing accidents.
An Idaho County Deputy was dispatched and located the vehicle. The deputy evaluated the driver and found reason to believe the driver was under the influence. The deputy performed field sobriety testing on the driver and K9 Mic performed an open air sniff. K9 Mic had a positive alert on the vehicle.
Lee Joyce, age 24, of Riggins, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and was also cited for misdemeanor reckless driving.
