Lewiston, ID- Released by the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office
Over the last couple of months we have had several inquiries in reference to our working K9, Ikar. Ikar has been in the very capable care of Snake River Four Paws, located here in Lewiston, ID. During this time Ikar has remained active with his training and enjoyed leisure time where has gotten to play and simply enjoy the life of being a dog. Ikar has always been active and loved serving the citizens of Nez Perce County and surrounding areas. Due to this love of working, Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Ikar has found his new home with Precision K9 Detection, located here, in Nez Perce County. Ikar will continue his service to the community with narcotic detection, keeping the community safe, all while living in a loving environment with his new family. Although we will miss Ikar, we will see him frequently as he will still be assisting Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office with his skills.
We would like to thank Snake River Four Paws for their willingness and generosity, in the care they provided Ikar during this transition.
