LC STATE ATHLETICS NEWS

September 7, 2024

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Lewis-Clark State Volleyball wrapped up its first full weekend of Cascade Conference action on Saturday with a 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-15, 25-14) of The Evergreen State College (Wash.). The Warriors dominated on offense with a .307 attack percentage.

“The team should be proud to put together two great wins on the road,” Head Coach Katie Palmer said. “Today our setters ran a really nice offense and got multiple hitters involved. Anna Merrill had some big-time swings and did a great job managing a bigger load. Our outsides combining for 25 kills in a three-set match really shows their ability to move the ball around. Overall, we have a group that is committed to competing and improving. We are looking forward to another tough road trip next week.”

The victory improves the LC State record to 6-3 on the season and 3-1 in Cascade Conference play. Evergreen State falls to 0-6 on the season and 0-2 in CCC action.
