(Lewiston, ID) Lewis-Clark State Men’s Golf concluded the 2024 portion of the season on Tuesday at the Tall Timber Invitational in Eugene, Ore. The Warriors placed seventh as a team, led by Alex Navarro in a tie for 11th.
“Another tough day,” Head Coach Zach Anderson said. “Unfortunate way to end the fall, but just fuels the fire that we have a ton to work on. We will get some much-needed rest, then get right back to getting better. Better days to come.”
Navarro and Owen Pearson carded the best rounds of the tournament for the Warriors with matching 75s in the final round. Navarro’s round lifted him to a tie for 11th with the help of three birdies on the front nine. Pearson used four birdies to balance out his round to finish in a tie for 21st.
Oscar Behle ran into trouble in his final round with a score of 81. He started his round with a birdie on his second hole but a rough stretch coming in dropped the senior to a tie for 29th. Kye Krall tied for 38th after a round of 79 and Lucas Ortega tied for 46th with an 80 in the second round.
Warrior newcomers Jaxon Moon and Dan Harrington competed as individuals. Moon matched the tournament-low for LC State with a 75 on his final 18 holes to tie for 29th. Harrington shot and 85 to drop to a tie for 38th.
