KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lewis-Clark State Men’s and Women’s Golf will each begin the 2023-24 season ranked in the NAIA’s top-25, announced by the national office on Friday. The Warrior men, who finished last season ranked No. 21, will open the new campaign at No. 20, while the women sit at No. 25.
The LC State men narrowly missed a spot in the national tournament last season but were represented by Jorgen Lie Viken as an individual. The women finished second at the Cascade Conference Championship and look to regain momentum heading into the fall.
The Warriors join UBC as the only two CCC teams to appear in both the men’s and women’s rankings. The Thunderbirds are the defending NAIA National Champion on both sides, with the women at No. 1 in the preseason poll and the men at No. 2. Oregon Tech is receiving votes in the women’s rankings and Bushnell did the same for the men.
The 2023-24 season opens at the Oregon Tech Invitational Sept. 11-12.
