(Lewiston, ID) The LC State Men’s Basketball team sits at No. 21 in the latest NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll, released on Wednesday. The Warriors are 6-2 since the last poll on Dec. 11.
LC State will face a pair of strong opponents on the road this weekend in Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech. OIT leads the Warriors in the standings by a half-game, sitting second with LC State in third.
The Warriors are second in the conference in field goal percentage (.497) and blocked shots per game (3.2).
Alton Hamilton is second in the CCC in scoring (17.7) and leads in rebounding (9.3). He is second in blocked shots per game (1.0). He notched his eighth 20-point game of the season on Saturday. Hamilton is one of four Warriors averaging double-digit points along with MaCarhy Morris (14.9), John Lustig (10.9) and Taden King (10.7).
College of Idaho fell to No. 5 in the national ranking while Oregon Tech is just outside the top 25 receiving votes.
