LC State Sets Adult Learner info Sessions for Coeur d’Alene and Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College will hold information sessions in both Coeur d’Alene and Lewiston on its Adult Learner program, which helps adults earn a college degree.

The college, which has been ranked No. 1 in the nation for non-traditional students by Best College Reviews, offers flexible and affordable programs built specifically for busy adults. LC State offers credits for prior learning, online programs, and night/weekend classes to help adults who may be a few credits away from earning a degree or just starting out.

The Coeur d’Alene session will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the LC State Coeur d’Alene Center’s DeArmond Building, located at 901 W. River Ave. The session will provide information on prior learning options, including earning credit for work experience.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, the same information will be shared in Lewiston at 6-7 p.m. at the Schweitzer Career & Technical Education Center, located at 2947 Cecil Andrus Way. During the presentations, there will be discussions on challenge exams, national exams, portfolio development and course offerings. The course offerings include eight-week blocks, online, evening, and weekend courses. Individual follow-up meetings will be available for those who participate.
