LC State Volleyball Adds Two to 2024 Roster

3/6/2024 | Alisha Alexander | Assistant Athletics Director-Sports Information
LEWISTON, Idaho – Warrior Volleyball Announced the addition of two incoming freshmen for the 2024 season in Teagan Scott and Ella Stosich. The pair join Taylor Boyce as newcomers to LC State in the fall.

“I couldn’t be more excited to announce the addition of Teagan and Ella to LC State volleyball,” Head Coach Katie Palmer said. “When putting together our 2024 class, we looked for student-athletes with high character that know how to win. Teagan and Ella bring those attributes coming from not only one of the best clubs Idaho, but also winning high school programs. I know they will come in prepared and ready to make an impact.”

Scott hails from Eagle, Idaho, where she is a senior at Eagle High School. The 6-0 setter dished out 1,098 assists as a senior with 243 digs, 84 kills, 58 aces and 58 total blocks. She helped the Mustangs to a district title and runner-up finish at the State tournament. Scott was voted first-team all-conference and Second-Team All-State.

“Teagan Scott exudes a passion for improvement,” Palmer said. “Every time our staff watches her play, we see her growing toward being an elite setter. I knew after the first phone call with her that she has what it takes to help our program grow. She has been raised for the challenge ahead. I can’t wait to get her on campus where the sky is the limit for her as a player and person.”

Stosich is a 5-7 libero out of Melba, Idaho, and is a senior at Melba High School. She helped the Mustangs to back-to-back State titles and earned first-team all-conference twice. She was also voted All-State Honorable Mention while also competing in basketball and track and field.

“Ella Stosich is surrounded by great coaches who played an integral part of her recruiting process,” Palmer added. “I was told she was built for our training environment and I couldn’t agree more. She is incredibly athletic, competitive and most importantly passionate about people. On her visit, I saw her care for her siblings and knew we had to have her in our program. I know the LC State community is going to love Ella as much as we do.”
