LEWISTON, Idaho – Highlighting this season’s LC State Basketball promotions is the inaugural Teddy Bear Toss that directly benefits children in the LC Valley. The halftime “toss” will take place on Friday, Dec. 9, at the P1FCU Activity Center with tip-off at 5 p.m. It will be an exciting night of Warrior Basketball as the women play long-time foe, the Saints of Carroll College (Mont.).
Fans who purchase the official LC teddy bear to toss will receive two general admission tickets to the Dec. 9 game and two general admission tickets to the Dec. 30 basketball doubleheader. Official LC teddy bears can be purchased at P1FCU Credit Union branches starting Nov. 28, as well online by visiting lcwarriors.com/tickets. Fans also can bring brand-new teddy bears and stuffed animals to the game that evening to throw onto the court for the Teddy Bear Toss.
Fans can keep their eyes out for exclusive giveaways at the following games:
Friday, Oct. 21 – Men’s basketball vs. Seattle Mountaineers – First 250 fans receive an exclusive baby blue LC Warriors t-shirt to match the men’s baby blue uniforms.
Saturday, Jan. 21 – vs. Northwest – Breast Cancer Awareness Day – Fans will receive pink ribbons to show their support for the fight against breast cancer.
Friday, Feb. 3 – vs. Bushnell – First 200 fans receive an LC clear bag courtesy of P1FCU.
Saturday, Feb. 4 – vs. Corban – First 150 fans will receive an exclusive “Real Warriors Wear Red” rally towel as the LC State Warriors take on the Corban Warriors. This night is also RED RUSH so wear your red and support the Warriors!
Poster signing opportunities will return to the P1FCU Activity Center on Saturday, Oct. 29, following the noon. women’s game, Thursday, Nov. 8, following the 5:30 p.m. men’s game, and Friday, Jan. 20, following the women’s and men’s doubleheader vs. Evergreen State.
Elementary School Nights are back! Mark your calendars for Friday, Jan. 13 for Elementary School Night #1 and Friday, Feb. 3 for Elementary School Night #2. All elementary school-aged children receive two (2) free admissions.
