CRESWELL, OR. – Jorgen Lie Viken was named the Cascade Conference Men’s Golfer of the Year and was one of seven Warriors to earn All-Cascade Conference honors. First-year head coach Zach Anderson earned Coach of the Year honors on the men’s side.
Viken finished tied for second at the Cascade Conference tournament that concluded on Wednesday. The senior earned two individual titles this season. Viken had a scoring average of 72.1 in conference tournaments, just edging out Mackenzie Bickell of UBC’s 72.3.
Devon Caruso (74.1) and Sondre Andresen (74.3) joined Viken on the Men’s all-conference team.
“Really proud of the seniors and team captains Devon Caruso and Jorgen Viken,” Anderson said. “Those two led the team all year and it was awesome to see them get all-conference.”
