Men’s Tennis Opens Spring Break Trip Against Campbellsville

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The (RV) Lewis-Clark State Men’s Tennis team opened its five-match, two-state road trip with a loss to Campbellsville (Ky.) 6-1 on Monday.
The loss dropped the Warrior record to 9-8 on the season.
Nell Rollin earned the lone victory in No. 4 singles against Inaki Toledo. Rollin dropped the first set 4-6, but bounced back with a 6-3 win in the second set. The freshman won a third-set modified tiebreaker 10-7.
Austin Swing lost in a good battle in No. 3 singles to Nahuel Hernando 7-5, 6-3. Itaru Kikuchi was unable to earn a win in No. 1 singles against Manuel Pinheiro 6-3, 6-4.
All three doubles matches were highly contested. Daniel Tevez and Rafael Bonnet de Larbogne lost in No. 3 doubles 7-5. Rollin and Swing pushed their No. 2 doubles match to 10 games before losing 6-4.

Noble-Lucas and Moyo Earn Wins against Campbellsville

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Paige Noble-Lucas and Heidi Moyo earned singles victories for the LC State Women’s Tennis team in a 5-2 loss to No. 25 Campbellsville (Ky.) on Monday.
The loss moved the Warrior record to 3-15 on the season.
Noble-Lucas was the victor in No. 3 singles against Angela Mendoza 6-3, 6-3. Moyo was a winner in No. 4 singles against Clara Asprella 6-2, 6-4.
Moyo teamed up with Rayana Shah in No. 1 doubles in a 6-3 win over Miru Nonaka and Oriana Espinoza.
Marina Perez battled in two tight sets in No. 5 singles versus Andrea Ovejero Fernandez in a 7-5, 7-6 loss.
