(Lewiston, ID) According to the Lewiston Civic Theatre’s website, “The Marvelous Wonderettes transports audiences to the Springfield High School prom, where we meet four vivacious and talented best friends—Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy. Who will wile their way to Prom Queen? You’ll never guess who Betty Jean’s man is running around with now. Will Cindy Lou conquer Hollywood, or will it crush her dreams? The Wonderettes will answer all of these questions and more in the Lewiston Civic Theatre production of The Marvelous Wonderettes, playing at Lindsay Creek Winery, January 17 – 26. You won’t want to miss the supremely talented cast comprised of Gabi Garcia, Jennifer Opdahl, Alaina Trickey, and Patricia Brinegar, reprising their iconic roles and singing you your favorite hits from the 50’s and 60’s. Classics like “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,” and “Respect” are certain to make a whole new generation fall in love with The Marvelous Wonderettes.”
The Marvelous Wonderettes will perform at Lindsay Creek Vineyards on January 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 7:00 PM and January 19 and 26 at 2:00 PM. The performances are in the back room with the entrance on the east side of the winery, as the tasting room is closed to the public at this time. Appetizers, fine wine, and craft beer will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Seating is limited for these performances, and it is therefore advised to purchase your tickets in advance and soon at www.lctheatre.org. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $17 for senior citizens, $15 for students and $12 for children.
