Lewiston Fire Department Welcomes Seven New Reserve Firefighters

(Lewiston, ID) The Lewiston Fire Department held a badge pinning ceremony at the City Council meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025, to celebrate the promotion of Logan Hersey and welcome seven new Reserve Firefighters.

Logan Hersey, who has served as a Reserve Firefighter since September 2023, was promoted to a full-time Firefighter after successfully completing a thorough promotional exam process.

Additionally, the department welcomed seven new Reserve Firefighters: Noah Accord, Mackenzie Gray, Billy Hobbs, Scott Hoffman, Jake O’Shaughnessy, Dusty Patterson, and Carter Razey. These recruits successfully completed the department’s entry-level testing process and trainee phase.

The Lewiston Fire Department congratulates Firefighter Hersey and all of the new Reserve Firefighters on their achievements and looks forward to their continued service to the community.
