(Lewiston, ID) This past weekend, Lewiston High School and Sacajawea Middle School’s Cheer teams competed in Boise at the Treasure Valley Cheer Invitational. 54 total athletes between J and Varsity competed for LHS against 8 other 5A schools in pom, sideline, and show routine. LHS placed 1st in all three categories. The JV team completed against three other 6A schools, and received first place in show and sideline routine, placing second in pom. Both JV and Varsity were up against 28 teams for overall grand champs- which Lewiston Varsity secured by a landslide.
Sacajawea Middle School brought 22 athletes to TVCI. This is the 3rd year in a row the Braves have attended this competition. SMS competed against 13 different middle schools in show, pom, and sideline. For the third year in a row, the Braves got 1st place in all categories and Overall Middle School Grand Champions, securing a 3-peat clean sweep.
