METHAMPHETAMINE FOUND ON DRIVER WITH WARRANT IN IDAHO COUNTY

On October 1, 2023, around 10:45 AM, an Idaho County Deputy was on routine patrol on Highway 95 near milepost 236, when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.

A check of the driver showed he had a current warrant. K9 Millie arrived with her handler, and she alerted on the vehicle. Methamphetamine was found on a search incident to arrest.

Albert Crisp, age 36, of Tonopah, Nevada was arrested for a felony warrant out of Clearwater County for failure to appear on the original charge of vehicle burglary and felony possession of methamphetamine. He was also cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and misdemeanor failure to provide proof of insurance.
