(Payette County, ID) On January 10, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm, the Payette County Sheriff’s Office was notified by a citizen about a person in the Snake River near Delmar Avenue. The Payette County Sheriff’s Office swift water rescue team responded to the location and found a deceased person in the river. Deputies recovered the body from the river. The Malheur County Sheriff’s Office has taken the lead in investigating this death.
More information will be provided once the autopsy has been completed, and next of kin have been notified.
