Montana State Visits LC State Tennis Center

LEWISTON – The Lewis-Clark State Women’s Tennis team dropped a match to NCAA Division I opponent Montana State 7-0 at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.
The loss dropped the Warriors’ record to 3-14.
April Buckingham and Heidi Moyo lost in No. 1 doubles against Marta Garcia-Reboredo and Hudson Hawkins 6-3. Beatriz Lambru and Rayana Shah won a pair of games in a 6-2 loss in No. 2 doubles.
“Some players are beginning to separate themselves from their teammates,” coach Ryan LaPlante said. “We are continuing to improve in the doubles.”
In singles, Shah pushed the second set to nine games in a 6-1, 6-3 loss to Garcia Reboredo. Lina Boylan dropped a No. 2 singles contest 6-1, 6-2 against Paula Dougherty. Naiara Montero won a pair of games in each set in No. 6 singles.
