MOSCOW — The City of Moscow Community Events Division invites you to celebrate the end of the 2022 Moscow Farmers Market season! Attend the Market on Sat., Oct. 29 dressed to impress for the annual Halloween Costume Contest.
Now in its third year, the Costume Contest offers patrons and customers a festive, seasonal, and spook-tacular way to close out the Market season. Contestant registration begins at 9 am in Friendship Square with the contest ending at 12:00 pm. Contestants may compete in one of five costume categories:
- Best Sprout costume (0-10 years)
- Best Junior costume (11-17 years)
- Best Adult costume (18+ years)
- Best Duo/Pair costume (all ages)
- Best Group/Family costume (all ages)
Contestants will be judged by members of the Farmers Market Commission on costume theme, creativity, and execution. Contestants will have their photo taken prior to presenting themselves to the judges and need not be present to win. Winners will be announced via social media with trophies to be presented to the winners at the Mon., Nov. 7 City Council meeting.
