Moscow PD Officers Save Three Ducklings Lives Monday Morning.

MOSCOW – In the morning hours of Monday, April 25, Moscow Police Department Officer Nunes and Officer Stirk responded to a call of little ducklings caught in a storm drain at the intersection of F Street and Ford Street.

Dana Rand, the City’s Stormwater Supervisor, responded and opened the drain for the officers who safely retrieved the ducklings. The babies were given to Palouse Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation and they are now reportedly safe, warm, and doing well.

“This is a great example of how City Departments work together on a daily basis!” Moscow PD said in a Facebook post.
