IDAHO FALLS – On Thursday, representatives from the Mountain America Center, Idaho Falls Auditorium District (IFAD), and the Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) presented the announcement of an exciting partnership between the venue and activities commission. The Mountain America Center has been selected as the host venue for the 2024 and 2025 IHSAA State Volleyball Championships, as well as the 2026 and 2027 IHSAA State Cheer and Dance Championships.

“This is a huge day for Idaho Falls and the surrounding region for high school activities,” exclaims General Manager of the Mountain America Center, Erik Hudson. “The word tradition often comes to mind when hosting events within our venue, and how extraordinary that we will play a role in bringing lifelong memories to these athletes, coaches, and fans. We want Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center to establish a tradition of long-lasting championship events, as well as having a special place in the hearts of the people who attend these championships. We look forward to a long-lasting partnership with the IHSAA and creating new traditions for many years to come.”
