GRANGEVILLE – A fire was reported Tuesday, September 27 around 2:18 p.m. approximately nine miles outside Grangeville in Wilkins Gulch, burning toward Rock Creek, and is currently estimated at 150 acres.
Today, crews plan to utilize engines and aircraft to slow and direct the spread of the fire.
The fire currently has four- to six-foot flame lengths, burning quickly through grass, brush, and wheat stubble.
At this time there is no restrictions or road/trail closures. A few structures are threatened but there are no evacuations at this time
