(Lewiston, ID) On January 6, 2025 at approximately 0520 hours Deputies responded to an injury collision on the Old Spiral Highway approximately 2 miles up.  A Toyota 4 Runner with 3 occupants left the roadway and ended up over 200 feet down the ravine.  One occupant was able to walk to a nearby residence to call for help and was later taken to the hospital via ground ambulance.  Two other occupants were extricated from the vehicle.  One person was transported to the hospital via ground ambulance.  The third subject was pronounced deceased on scene.  At this time it is unclear who the driver of the vehicle was. The incident is being investigated by the Nez Perce County  Major Collision Team. If anyone has information regarding the crash please contact Sgt.
