(Spokane, WA) Approximately 751 Avista and 818 Clearwater Power customers in Culdesac, Lapwai, and the surrounding areas will experience a power outage starting at 5:00 a.m. and ending at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, December 20. Customers who will be impacted by the outage will be notified directly.
 
During this time, Avista will be performing maintenance to its Lolo-Sweetwater Substation. Lane closures are expected on southbound Highway 95 on Thursday, December 19 starting at 7:00 am until 2:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning December 20 from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
 
Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.
