Post-Election Audit Selection of Idaho Counties, Precincts
(Boise, Idaho) – Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane announced the Idaho counties and precincts selected for a post-election audit following the November 5, 2024 General Election. The random draw to select the counties and precincts was conducted today at the Idaho State Capitol by the Idaho Board of Canvassers, which includes Secretary McGrane, Controller Brandon Woolf, and Treasurer Julie Ellsworth.
Under Idaho Statute, the Secretary of State conducts a post-election audit to ensure the accuracy of the election results tabulation for even-year primary and general elections.
