PULLMAN — The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation recently awarded $7,000 in scholarship funding to hospital employees Madisen Hollingshead, Dustene Johnston, Kim Magan, and Angela Rinaldi for the 2022 Fall Semester.
Hollingshead and Johnston each received the $2,500 Staff Education award to continue their education in healthcare-related fields. Magan and Rinaldi each received $1,000 through the “RN to BSN” Education Award for registered nurses pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation’s Governance Committee reviews applications and awards funds twice a year for Pullman Regional Hospital employees with Staff Education Awards and RN to BSN Education Awards. In the fall of each year, the Foundation partners with the Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences for the Gaskins Scholars program, which honors Bill Gaskins’ legacy within WSU and Pullman Regional Hospital by awarding funds to students committed to serving rural communities
In 2021, the Foundation awarded $36,000 toward educational pursuits.
Applications for the 2023 Spring awards will be available through the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation in November of 2022.
