(Pullman, WA) The City of Pullman has found its next fire chief pending the city council’s final approval.

The city’s spokeswoman Meghan Ferrin tells Pullman Radio News that Brett Nash is being forwarded to the city council for a confirmation vote to take over the fire department.  Nash currently works in the fire service in Nevada.  No other details about the nominee are being made public by the city.  Further information will be provided when the next Pullman City Council documents are released a week from today.

The post is opening with the retirement of Chief Mike Heston whose last day is February 7th.  Heston was hired as Pullman Fire Chief in 2013.
