Public Education & Outreach Events
The City of Lewiston will be holding public education and outreach events this fall on the Stormwater Drainage System Utility where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get the lowdown on the upcoming service fees, capital improvement projects, and more!
Who will be there?
Since the utility impacts processes across multiple departments, various staff will be in attendance and available for any questions. Come say “hello” and learn more about the utility from the Public Works Department, Utility Billing Division, and the Public Information Office.
What information will be shared?
This will be an informal event with multiple stations set up for you to seek the information you want and skip the information you don’t want!
Resources at the event will include, but are not limited to, information on the user fees, credit eligibility, and waiver eligibility; Utility Assistance Program (also known as Circuit Breaker) application process; Capital Improvement Projects planned for the current fiscal year (October 2023 to September 2024); and much more!
When is this event taking place?
Join us anytime from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on October 19, 2023.
A second event is planned for November at a Lewiston Orchards venue. More details are forthcoming.
Where is this event being held?
For the first event on October 19, 2023, we will be set up in the Lewiston Community Center’s Sturgeon Room at 1424 Main Street. If you’re new to the Community Center, there’s plenty of parking available in the facility’s parking lot off of Lincoln Street and G Street.
