Residents Can Expect Closures, Delays as A Street Improvement Project Continues in Moscow

City of Moscow
July 5, 2024

MOSCOW – The City of Moscow has released an update on the planned improvement project to replace existing storm, sanitary, and water utility lines and fully surface A Street from Washington to Adams Street with asphalt, sidewalk, and gutters that began June 3rd, 2024.

As the project continues, most of the work will be within A Street but residents can expect road closures, detours, and possible delays near this location. Local access for residents and businesses will remain open as much as possible during construction. However, the City is asking residents to utilize parking on side streets as much as possible as access to A street will be intermittent. The City appreciates the public’s patience as these necessary repairs and upgrades are made to the infrastructure.

This project is scheduled for completion in October 2024.

Every effort will be made to adhere to the contractor’s daily schedule; however, unforeseen circumstances may require adjustment. For questions about the project, including the project schedule, or concerns about resident access, please contact the City of Moscow Engineering Division at 208-883-7034.
