Slurry Seal Scheduled for June 10 and 11 Throughout Lewiston

Release from City of Lewiston
June 9, 2024

LEWISTON – The City of Lewiston is undertaking its Annual Street Preservation program, focusing on preventative maintenance to keep our streets in excellent condition. This includes the removal and replacement of deteriorated pavement, patching, and overlay/chip seal on a rotating basis. The program is divided into two projects: Slurry Seal and Seal & Fog Coat.

For this year’s Slurry Seal project, the City has contracted with Blackline, Inc. The work is scheduled for June 10th and June 11th, with operation hours typically between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The project schedule and map will be updated periodically as work progresses and can be viewed on the City of Lewiston’s website at https://www.cityoflewiston.org/792/Annual-Street-Preservation

Drivers should anticipate short-term road closures during the work. As with all construction projects, unforeseen conditions may cause schedule changes. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time.
